What it was like
Golden Hour Reflections at Pinot's Palette Temecula is a Saturday evening class built for people who haven't painted since middle school and secretly want to. The subject is the moment just before sunset — warm light on water, the sky doing what it does in late afternoon when the angle is right and everything looks like it was lit by someone who knew what they were doing.
The instructor walks every seat through the same painting, step by step. You don't need experience, and you don't need to know what you're doing when you arrive. You arrive, you pick up a brush, you follow along, and two hours later you have something you made with your hands that looks genuinely good. That surprise is a significant part of what keeps people coming back.
Sessions are BYOB. Bring a bottle, bring a friend, or show up solo and find a table of people equally uncertain about their artistic ability. Pinot's Palette Temecula is at 41789 Nicole Lane, Ste B6. Tickets at pinotspalette.com/temecula. Saturday evening.
