The 8th Annual Comic Con Bar Crawl is Preview Night's after-hours version — the Gaslamp Quarter during SDCC week\, the streets full of people in costume\, the bars running themed specials\, and the collective energy of San Diego's biggest convention week with nowhere to be until tomorrow.\n\nThe bar crawl exists at the intersection of convention culture and bar culture\, which means the crowd in the Gaslamp on this night is the crowd that knows both. The costumes range from full foam armor builds to people who printed a badge and called it a character. Both are welcome. The Gaslamp during Comic-Con is a spectacle in its own right — the density of cosplay on Fifth and Sixth Avenue is matched nowhere else in the city.\n\nThe crawl moves through participating Gaslamp venues across the evening.
