SUMMARY:Gaslamp Halloween Bar Crawl
DESCRIPTION:In June\, with no costumes anywhere in sight\, the quarter already looks like Halloween. Victorian facades\, bars standing shoulder to shoulder down Fifth Avenue\, a whole quarter built like a set somebody forgot to strike. One night a year the neighborhood finally gets to be what it looks like. Every bar runs its own version of the evening\, and the costumes range from elaborate to inspired to genuinely baffling in ways that reward walking slowly and staring openly. The crawl format hands you the infrastructure\, wristband access to participating venues and the drink specials already sorted\, which is really the organized version of what would happen out here anyway. What it actually buys you is attention: you spend the night being somewhere instead of managing it. Come with a costume worth wearing through a crowd that will notice\, and come with people who want to see all of it and then stay wherever holds them. This is the one night Fifth Avenue was built for. Text whoever you already know will say yes.
