The Spanish Colonial Revival buildings\, the fountain plazas\, the museum facades — these settings read as fantasy environments regardless of what you're cosplaying. An armor build catches the afternoon light against the Botanical Building in a way that photographers plan shoots around. A soft character design photographs against the garden in ways that require no post-processing.\n\nThe social runs as an open community gathering — no formal schedule\, no judging\, no hierarchy between the group who spent six months on a build and the group in store-bought costumes who showed up because it looked like fun.
