Nobody warns you about that. It arrives on its own.\n\nThey call the route Stadium to the Stars and it earns the name: out of Dodger Stadium\, through Hollywood and West Hollywood\, into Beverly Hills\, past Rodeo Drive and down the Wilshire Corridor\, finishing on Avenue of the Stars. Twenty-six point two miles of a city that normally refuses to be seen at walking pace.\n\nThe crowds carry it. The West Hollywood stretch near Santa Monica Boulevard is reliably the loudest noise on the entire course\, and standing there for a few hours is worth doing even if you never lace up.\n\nRegistration\, charity bibs\, and lottery entries are all open.\n\nSend it to the friend who keeps saying next year. It is next year.
