The Adams Avenue Street Fair is one of Southern California's largest free music festivals\, turning the neighborhood's main commercial strip into an outdoor music and arts venue: multiple stages\, 300-plus arts and crafts booths\, a carnival section\, food vendors\, and beer gardens. It has been running over thirty years and carries a genuine local reputation that national touring acts can't manufacture. Adams Avenue between 30th and 35th Streets\, Normal Heights\, San Diego\, CA 92116. Last weekend of September 2026\, typically Saturday and Sunday. Free admission to the street fair\; beer garden and some attractions require a wristband. Parking throughout Normal Heights - the 15 Freeway exits to El Cajon Blvd\, which connects to Adams Ave - and it's walkable from multiple bus lines. Stroller-friendly during daytime hours\, louder in the evenings.
