DESCRIPTION:The Camarillo Air Show returns to Camarillo Airport for its annual public show in 2026\, one of the most consistently excellent regional airshows in Southern California. Camarillo hosts a remarkable concentration of vintage warbirds through the Commemorative Air Force and Pacific Coast Air Museum\, and the annual show puts those aircraft in the air alongside a curated mix of military and civilian performers.\n\nThe Camarillo show is distinguished by its vintage aircraft content. The Pacific Coast Air Museum and local CAF operators make aircraft of World War II and Cold War era available that simply aren't airworthy at most shows — B-17 Flying Fortresses\, P-51 Mustangs\, F4U Corsairs\, and T-6 Texans performing the combat demonstrations that allow the size and speed of these aircraft to become viscerally comprehensible rather than abstractly impressive from a static display.\n\nThe airshow grounds at Camarillo Airport (also known as Oxnard/Camarillo Airport) include a large static aircraft display area\, military and aviation vendor exhibits\, and general viewing areas along the flight line. Food and refreshment vendors operate throughout the show day.\n\nCamarillo Airport is at 555 Airport Way in Camarillo\, easily accessible from US-101 between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. General admission charged at the gate\; advance tickets available on the airshow website. The show typically runs one or two days in the fall. Dress for warm Ventura County sun — bring hats and sunscreen — and arrive early for the best positions on the flight line.
