This track has been a fixture of Southern California life since 1934.\n\nThe fall stakes program includes several Grade I and Grade II races that pull horses from beyond California - trainers targeting the Breeders' Cup championships in November use these fall races as condition tests. The Santa Anita handicaps and the Oak Tree Racing Association's fall program deliver a quality of racing uncommon in the fall California calendar\, and the paddock is the best place in American racing to see these horses before a stakes race.\n\nSanta Anita Park is at 285 W Huntington Dr in Arcadia\, reachable from the I-210 and US-210\, with the Metro L Line at Arcadia station connecting to a free race-day shuttle. On-site parking. General admission covers the apron\, grandstand\, and paddock\; clubhouse and terrace upgrades are available. Racing runs Friday through Sunday and select Mondays through early November 2026.
