SUMMARY:Pacific Islander Festival San Diego 2026
DESCRIPTION:The fire knife spins close enough that you feel the heat off it\, hula moves across the main stage\, and Polynesian drumming carries out over Mission Bay - for two days\, the largest and longest-running celebration of Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander culture in North America takes over the grass at Ski Beach. Now in its 38th year\, entirely free\, it draws tens of thousands to honor communities across Polynesia\, Micronesia\, and Melanesia. The grounds run 100-plus vendor booths of traditional crafts\, jewelry\, clothing\, and food spanning Hawaiian\, Samoan\, Tongan\, Fijian\, Tahitian\, and Chamorro cuisines. Live entertainment runs continuously across the main stage\, and keiki areas keep the youngest visitors busy with games and crafts. Ski Beach is at 1155 West Mission Bay Drive in San Diego\, right on the water with views across the bay\; plentiful free parking along West Mission Bay Drive and at the park lots. Fully accessible and family-friendly. No tickets required - arrive\, explore\, and stay a while. Bring lawn chairs or blankets\, sunscreen\, and an appetite. September 26-27\, 2026. Free both days.
