September marks the transition into fall fashion season in the J-fashion community\, when the layering begins and the coordinating gets elaborate: lolita switching from cotton to velvet\, acubi going muted and architectural\, mori pulling out its best patchwork.\n\nThe September 19 edition runs noon to 5 PM at Little Tokyo Galleria\, 333 S Alameda St\, Los Angeles. This is a free community event that doubles as a vendor market — independent designers and importers selling pieces you won't find at any standard retail store.
