NCT 127 10th Anniversary Cupsleeve Fan Meetup

Going? You can check in after it ends.

12:00 PM PDT – 5:00 PM PDT

About

There is a way NCTzens celebrate a decade of NCT 127 that has nothing to do with a venue or a stage. It happens at a tea house in West Covina, surrounded by people who have been listening since the beginning. The cupsleeve is the souvenir. The meetup is the reason.

This fan-organized NCT 127 10th Anniversary Cupsleeve event at Guanyin Tea House brings together the SoCal NCT fan community for a celebration timed to the anniversary milestone. Fans collect limited-edition cupsleeves designed by the community, share fan-made goods, and spend an afternoon in a room full of people who know every unit, every sub-unit, and exactly which comeback changed things for them.

Guanyin Tea House in West Covina has built a reputation as one of the K-pop fan community's preferred gathering spots in the San Gabriel Valley. The environment is deliberately unhurried — designed for long conversations over drinks, not quick stops.

If NCT 127's tenth year means something to you, this is where SoCal fans are marking it together.

July 11, 2026 · 12:00 PM–5:00 PM · Guanyin Tea House · 550 S Glendora Ave, West Covina, CA · Free admission

Street Food Cinema screens The Birdcage in its 30th anniversary year at The Autry Museum of the American West in Griffith Park on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Doors open at 6:00 PM; film begins at dusk around 8:30 PM. The 1996 Mike Nichols comedy starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane remains one of the warmest, funniest ensemble films of its decade. The Autry Museum provides a picturesque lawn setting in the foothills of Griffith Park at 4700 Western Heritage Way, Los Angeles, CA 90027. Parking is available within Griffith Park. Food vendors, DJ music, and lawn games are on-site before showtime. Bring blankets or low-back chairs. Tickets are sold through the Street Food Cinema website. Sawdust Art Festival 2026 — 60th Anniversary Season
Jun 26 – Sep 7, 2026 Paid — see sawdustartfestival.org 935 Laguna Canyon Rd, Laguna Beach…

The Sawdust Art Festival celebrates its 60th anniversary season in summer 2026, running from late June through Labor Day weekend at its iconic canyon home in Laguna Beach. For six decades this festival has showcased over 180 local Laguna Beach artists presenting original work you cannot find anywhere else: ceramics, paintings, jewelry, sculpture, woodwork, glass art, and more. Every piece is made by hand by the artist who stands beside it. The festival is more than a marketplace. It is a living arts community. Free art classes run throughout the season, giving visitors hands-on experience with wheel-thrown pottery, watercolor painting, and other crafts. Live music fills the shaded canyon venue each day. Food and drink vendors line the festival grounds. The canopy of trees and winding pathways make it one of the most atmospheric outdoor venues in Southern California. Located at 935 Laguna Canyon Road, the festival is walkable from downtown Laguna Beach and easily paired with a visit to the Pageant of the Masters next door. Tickets are available at sawdustartfestival.org. Open daily through the summer season. Free trolley from downtown Laguna Beach. Parking available on-site and along Laguna Canyon Road. This is the kind of event that brings back the same families year after year alongside the same artists who have shown here for decades. One of the most beloved summer traditions in Orange County. Do not miss the 60th anniversary.

Lucha Wars: 7 Year Anniversary - Los Angeles
Jul 26, 2026 2811 E Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, …

Seven years in, Lucha Wars has built a Los Angeles following around the theatrical tradition of Mexican wrestling. The 7 Year Anniversary show is the biggest card they have put together — and the crowd that shows up knows the difference. This is Lucha Libre the way it was meant to be experienced: up close, loud, and electric. Wrestlers with roots in the barrio, storytelling in the ring that goes beyond athletics, and a crowd that knows every name and isn't afraid to show it. Whether you're a longtime fan of the sport or just curious what the noise is about on E. Olympic Blvd on a Sunday afternoon, this show is worth the drive. East Los Lucha events regularly sell out — the venue holds a few hundred, and word travels fast in this community. Tickets on Eventbrite. Come ready to cheer, bring cash for merch, and expect at least one moment that makes the whole room erupt. Seven years of this. The best kind of underground institution.

La Jolla Music Society SummerFest 2026 — 40th Anniversary
Jul 31 – Aug 29, 2026 $40-$150 Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Cent…

La Jolla's SummerFest turns 40 this summer, and the La Jolla Music Society is marking the occasion with four weeks of chamber music, jazz, world premieres, and free community programming at the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center — one of the genuinely beautiful performance spaces built in the last decade anywhere in the American West. SummerFest 2026 runs July 31 through August 29. The main concert series features more than 20 performances including Brad Mehldau's Ride Into the Sun — a reimagining of Elliott Smith songs with Chris Thile and Blake Mills that does not fit into any existing genre and is selling fast. Imani Winds performs Wayne Shorter's Terra Incognita during the second week. One marquee night moves to the Balboa Theatre in downtown San Diego for a program built around the American musical tradition. The Conrad is at 7600 Fay Ave in the heart of La Jolla Village, a 10-minute walk from the water. Parking is available in the adjacent structure; street parking is possible but fills early on weekend nights. The venue seats roughly 500 in the main hall and is intimate enough that the third row and the twentieth row feel equally close to the stage. The free programming is serious: open rehearsals, artist conversations, master classes, and youth performances run throughout all four weeks. If you want to understand what SummerFest actually is — a working music residency where internationally recognized artists collaborate and perform — the free open rehearsals are where you see it clearly. Tickets for individual concerts went on sale May 4. The festival has sold out multiple nights in prior years. This is the 40th. Book early.

Aug 1, 2026 TBA — check Eventbrite Glendale Civic Auditorium, 1401 N …

Twenty years. The Martial Arts History Museum's flagship celebration returns on August 1, 2026 at the Glendale Civic Auditorium for its biggest milestone yet: the 20th Annual Dragonfest Expo. This is the event that calls itself the greatest cultural and martial arts expo in the world, and the twenty-year anniversary brings the full scale of that claim to Glendale. Attendees get access to legendary martial arts celebrities and icons — meet-and-greets, Q&A sessions, and photo opportunities with the people who defined martial arts on film and in competition. Six-part Q&A lecture series with guest speakers. Spectacular Asian cultural performances. A full cosplay photo experience for the anime and gaming crowd that has always overlapped with martial arts fandom. The audience for Dragonfest is wider than any single fandom. If you grew up on kung fu films, anime with fight choreography, video game tournaments, or any corner of Asian pop culture, this event hits something fundamental. The Martial Arts History Museum — a nonprofit institution dedicated to preserving martial arts history and culture — runs this as its annual showcase. All proceeds fund the museum directly. All ages welcome. Six hours of programming from 11 AM to 5 PM. Paid parking available at the Glendale Civic Auditorium. The auditorium is accessible by Metro and public transit from across Los Angeles County. This is the 20th anniversary. If you've been to Dragonfest before, this is the year you don't skip. If you haven't been, this is the year to start. August 1, 2026 — Glendale Civic Auditorium.

Bleach 30th Anniversary Special — San Diego 2026
Aug 22, 2026 San Diego, CA

San Diego has a chapter in Bleach's 30th anniversary. The Thousand-Year Blood War arc is back in production, and this is the city's celebration — screening, panel, and the fan community that never stopped watching. This is not a generic anime event. The Bleach anniversary circuit selects cities with deep fan communities, and San Diego has earned its spot. Expect curated screenings of pivotal Thousand-Year Blood War episodes, exclusive merchandise from the 30th anniversary line, character cosplay contests judged by convention veterans, and panel discussions with the San Diego anime community that has been with Bleach since its Shonen Jump debut in 2001. Why this matters now: the TYBW anime is in its most critical arc. The Quincy invasion is nearly complete. The community organizing around this event reflects something real — Bleach fans have been waiting a decade for this arc to finally reach animation. This is the celebration of a promise finally kept. What to know: The event draws mixed crowds — veterans who read the manga from issue one alongside newcomers who discovered Bleach through the 2022 anime revival. The San Diego anime community skews knowledgeable; expect deep-cut discussion and serious cosplay. Limited attendance means intimate access to the experience. San Diego anchor for the bleach-tybw taste node. Ticketmaster affiliate link active — get paid for the discovery handoff.
