Half the neighborhood is out here and not one of them paid anything to be.\n\nSomebody decided that every part of this city deserved at least one summer evening of a movie outdoors under an actual sky\, and then went and did it\, park by park\, year after year. The format is the whole idea: find the screening closest to you\, bring something to sit on\, arrive before dark. No seats to reserve\, no venue with opinions about your shoes. Just a park turning into a theater for a few hours because people wanted somewhere good to be.\n\nThe lineup runs wide enough that something is always worth the trip — a recent release\, an old one\, something the kids have not seen. Rotating locations from July into October\, free.\n\nFind the one nearest you and tell your neighbors. That is genuinely all it takes.
