DESCRIPTION:They believed a parking lot could become the most culturally specific address in Los Angeles for a weekend\, if the right food and the right community showed up together. The 626 Night Market proved that belief correct at scale — and in 2026\, it returns to Santa Anita Park for the first summer weekend in June.\n\nOver 200 vendors spread across the grounds\, most of them rotating dishes that don't exist on restaurant menus: regional Taiwanese street food\, Hong Kong egg waffles with flavors designed at midnight\, Thai rolled ice cream\, Japanese kakigori\, versions of Filipino desserts that require explanation. The entertainment stages run throughout\, and the crowd — tens of thousands across the three days — is as much the attraction as the food.\n\nThis is the community event that defines the San Gabriel Valley's summer.
