Orchard tours where you pick the thing off the branch yourself. Music on the main stage\, craft vendors filling the street\, and a crowd that is half San Diego County and half people who came here as children and have brought someone new. The gold rush built this town\; the apples took it over\, and there are varieties grown up here that appear nowhere else in the state.\n\nIt runs through October along Main Street\, most of it free\, with individual orchards setting their own prices.\n\nSend it to whoever you would want in the passenger seat for the drive up.
