SUMMARY:Warhammer 40K Hobby Night at Bards & Cards — San Diego
DESCRIPTION:You have half a squad sitting primed on a desk at home\, staring at you since sometime last spring. Painting alone is how a hobby quietly turns into a chore. Painting in a room where somebody glances over and says that blue is working is how it stays a hobby.\n\nSaturdays in the Gaslamp\, the format bends to whoever walked in. Some people come purely to paint under decent lighting with a cold drink at their elbow. Others come to run a list against a real opponent before a tournament\, which is the only honest way to discover your plan collapses on turn two. The store keeps product and paints on the shelf\, which matters far more than it sounds at the precise moment you find out you are out of base coat.\n\nThis is a hobby where people put hundreds of hours into armies built story by story. These nights exist because that deserves a room taking it seriously.\n\nBring the friend whose army has been bare plastic for a year.
