SUMMARY:Brick'd Up — Biweekly Smash Bros Ultimate at Geeky Lounge San Diego
DESCRIPTION:You can practice online forever and still have no idea what your hands do when the other player is sitting three feet away and people are watching the bracket.\n\nThat is what a local is for. This one pulls from all over the county — OB\, Mission Valley\, Chula Vista\, El Cajon — which is unusual enough that the bracket rarely looks the same twice. Cash on the line keeps the level honest\, and nobody pretends this is a casual pod. The setups are proper\, the monitors are good\, and the crowd knows exactly what it is watching\, which is its own kind of pressure. Entry gets you the rest of the gaming floor too.\n\nEvery other week in Pacific Beach\, with registration through start.gg.\n\nIf you have been meaning to stop practicing and start losing to better players\, this is where the reps actually live. Bring the friend who keeps telling everyone they are cracked.
