It was canceled in 2024. Canceled again in 2025. And now\, on the last Sunday of September\, it comes back. That return is the whole story. For one free afternoon the entire mile of Abbot Kinney closes to cars and opens to everything else: 350 vendors\, the best food trucks in a city that takes food trucks seriously\, multiple music stages\, beer gardens\, kids rides and a KidsQuad stage\, and the particular Venice energy of artists and skaters and families all pouring into the same stretch of pavement. The Westside lifers who have missed it will be there\, and so will anyone who wants to watch one of Los Angeles' most photographed streets do the thing it does best. Free admission.
