SUMMARY:Coronado Island Film Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:You keep running into the same director at the coffee cart. By the third day it stops being a festival and starts being a small town that happens to be showing movies\, and the conversations outlast the credits by a wide margin.\n\nThat is what an island does to one of these. Everything sits inside a walkable village staged around the old hotel\, so there is no crush\, no shuttle between venues\, no rope keeping the person who made the thing away from the person who just watched it. The documentary slate is genuinely strong — the kind of programming a small festival can gamble on because it is not trying to fill two thousand seats.\n\nFive days in early November\, a short stroll from the beach\, in the shoulder season when the island quietly belongs to itself again.\n\nSend this to the friend who would rather talk to one filmmaker for twenty minutes than fight a crowd for a premiere.
