SUMMARY:Mira Mesa Street Fair 2026 — Hawaiian Theme
DESCRIPTION:Every neighborhood has a day when the main road closes and the people who live there discover they have been living next to strangers who make incredible lumpia. In Mira Mesa\, that day is the first Saturday of October\, and after twenty-six years it has become the kind of street fair that families organize their autumn around.\n\nThe 26th annual Mira Mesa Street Fair takes over Camino Ruiz from Mira Mesa Boulevard to New Salem Street on October 3\, 2026\, running 10am to 5pm. This year's Hawaiian theme means you can expect leis\, island-inspired food vendors\, and the specific energy of a neighborhood that decided this was the year they went all in on aloha.\n\nOver 300 vendors line the street with handmade goods\, food from around the world\, live entertainment on multiple stages\, and the kind of kids' activities that make children believe streets were always meant to be walked in the middle of. Admission is free. The crowd is the neighborhood — Filipino\, Mexican\, Japanese\, Chamorro\, Vietnamese\, and every other community that makes Mira Mesa the most genuinely multicultural zip code in San Diego.\n\nThis is not a festival you drive across town for because it was marketed well. This is the festival your neighbor has been telling you about for three years and you finally showed up.
