Demon Days changed what a pop album was allowed to sound like. Plastic Beach changed what it was allowed to be about.\n\nThe Mountain Tour stops at Pechanga Arena San Diego on October 25\, and the support lineup is the buried lede: Little Simz — the North London rapper who won the Mercury Prize and then kept going as if awards were beside the point — and Deltron 3030\, Del the Funky Homosapien's dystopian hip-hop opera that predicted the future in 2000 and is still catching up to itself.\n\nThis is a show where three different communities collide in one room: the Gorillaz art-heads who followed every visual album and know Jamie Hewlett's illustrations by heart\, the hip-hop heads who recognize that Deltron 3030 is one of the most important concept albums ever made\, and the Little Simz fans who've watched her grow from a YouTube rapper to one of the best MCs alive. Pechanga Arena holds over 12\,000 and this will sell. 7:30 PM doors.
