Stabbing Westward built anthems out of romantic devastation -- 'Save Yourself\,' 'Shame' -- and they anchor a full night of the era's industrial-rock heavy hitters: PIG\, 16 Volt\, and Acumen Nation\, all on one stage in a downtown warehouse made to take this much volume. Pacific Electric is a restored rail-yard building with the low\, hard sound these bands were made for. It is a reunion for a scene that never actually broke up\, just went home and got jobs. Come scream the choruses you have been muttering in your car for twenty-five years. The eyeliner is optional. The catharsis is not.
