It's because this is the car show where the owners actually want to talk to you. Every generation of Mustang since 1964 lines up along the Embarcadero — the early fastbacks that started it all\, the Boss 302s\, the Fox bodies that everyone made fun of until they didn't\, the Shelby GT500s that cost more than some houses. The owners stand next to their cars with the hoods up\, and if you ask a question you're going to get an answer that's longer and more passionate than you expected.
