DESCRIPTION:A brewery loading dock becomes a gallery for one night\, and the person handing you a print is the person who painted it at their kitchen table last Tuesday. No gallerist in between\, no statement on the wall\, nobody to explain the work except whoever made it.\n\nMore than a dozen businesses across downtown and Smoky Hollow open their doors for the evening and fill with Los Angeles artists: paintings\, prints\, sculpture\, photography\, clothing and jewelry made by hand\, the kind of pieces you only end up owning because you got the story first. Food trucks along the street\, live music drifting block to block\, and a comedy and barbecue festival running alongside it this year with Dave Williamson bringing Ian Edwards\, Deb Digiovani\, and Chris Franjola.\n\nDowntown El Segundo\, afternoon into evening\, free to walk. Park early\, move slowly\, and go with the friend who has bare walls and keeps saying they should fix that.
