The lineup features Lupe Fiasco alongside the Hieroglyphics crew\, with Coast Contra and LXGIT filling out a card that honors the Bay Area underground hip hop tradition while pulling from the new wave carrying it forward. Hieroglyphics — the collective that includes Del\, Casual\, Souls of Mischief\, Pep Love\, and A-Plus — built an independent empire before the internet made that a viable sentence. Hiero Day is their annual celebration\, and the LA edition brings it to a room with the acoustics and the history to match.\n\nThe Hollywood Palladium is a standing-room venue at 6215 W Sunset Blvd with a capacity around 4\,000 — big enough to feel like an event\, small enough that you can see the whites of Del's eyes from the middle of the floor.\n\nNot a mainstream show.
