Every heat is a conversation between a surfer and the water: power turns\, floaters\, and tube rides if the swell cooperates\, judged by people who grew up on these same waves and are not easily impressed.\n\nThe tour draws SoCal's best amateur and age-division talent plus open-division competitors chasing season points.
