One day a year\, they all show up at the same park — and the result is the closest thing SoCal has to a world expo built by your actual neighbors.\n\nThe Irvine Global Village Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary on October 10 at Great Park\, a free all-day celebration of the diversity that most cities claim and few actually embody. Cultural performances from dozens of nations fill the stages. International food vendors line the paths — Filipino lumpia next to Korean bibimbap next to Middle Eastern falafel next to Mexican street corn. Art installations\, interactive booths\, and community organizations turn the park into a living map of who actually lives in Orange County.\n\nThe festival runs from 10 AM to 6 PM. Free admission.
