SUMMARY:77th Annual La Habra Corn Festival & Carnival 2026
DESCRIPTION:There's a smell that catches you first — kettle corn cracking in iron drums\, roasted ears turning gold on the grill\, warm butter pooling on paper plates. It's not the smell of a festival. It's the smell of the neighborhood remembering what it is.\n\nThe La Habra Corn Festival has been doing this since 1949\, which means your grandparents might have stood in this same park on a night like this\, listening to a band they barely remember now\, holding a cob that tasted exactly like the one in your hand. Seventy-seven years of Portola Park transformed into a carnival midway\, a live music stage\, a food court that runs on heritage recipes and church-group fundraiser energy. The Lions Club still runs it. The parade still rolls down La Habra Boulevard on Saturday morning.\n\nThis is not a curated experience. Nobody art-directed the corn. The rides are the kind that fold up on a flatbed and reappear in three towns by next Thursday. The craft vendors have been setting up at the same booth for a decade. And the crowd is the crowd that lives here — the family with the stroller\, the teenagers who came for the Gravitron\, the guy who just wanted one elote and ended up staying until close.\n\nFriday 5–11 PM\, Saturday 11:30 AM–11 PM\, Sunday noon onward. Portola Park\, 301 S Euclid St\, La Habra. Rides\, live entertainment\, parade\, community booths. Free admission to the festival grounds\; ride tickets sold separately.
