Authors reading aloud to kids sitting cross-legged on the grass. Illustrators showing how a blank page becomes a character. Live entertainment that actually holds a child's attention without a screen. And books — stacked\, displayed\, signed\, read\, clutched — the whole point\, never secondary to the spectacle around it.\n\nThis is a festival that understands its audience. It runs from 10 AM to 3 PM because that's how long a kid's tank lasts. Admission is free because the barrier to a child finding the book that changes them should be zero.
