DESCRIPTION:On the first Thursday of every month\, a stretch of Downtown Los Angeles turns into a free\, walkable art evening that feels like the city decided to stay up past its bedtime for a good reason. DTLA ArtNight opens galleries\, museums\, and pop-up spaces along Grand Avenue\, the Historic Core\, and the Fashion District from 6 PM to 10 PM.\n\nThis is not an art walk in the corporate-sponsored sense. It is a neighborhood decision to keep the doors open late and let people wander. The Broad\, MOCA\, and Grand Park participate\, but so do the spaces you have never heard of -- the ones with no website and a single light on inside. The crowd is a mix of serious art people\, first-daters\, and families who are all seeing the same thing and getting completely different experiences from it. There is no cover\, no wristband\, no list. You walk in and the art is there.\n\nFree admission. Galleries and studios along Grand Avenue and the Historic Core -- start anywhere\, follow the lights.
