DESCRIPTION:Halloween falling on a Saturday is a rare alignment and the city treats it accordingly. Most of what is on offer that night is indoors and dark. This one is in a ballpark\, outdoors\, starting while it is still light.\n\nChris Stussy came out of Amsterdam playing a jacking\, stripped-back strain of house that spread across Europe before American promoters caught up. His sets are patient — long stretches where very little changes and then everything does — which works far better in an open-air space than in a low-ceilinged club. Gallagher Square sits past center field with the downtown towers behind it\, and a five o'clock start means the set moves from daylight through sunset into full dark\, which is the arc this music was built for.\n\nSaturday the thirty-first\, gates at five\, at the ballpark on Park Boulevard. Costumes are not required but you will be outnumbered.
