SUMMARY:Dermot Kennedy: The Weight of the Woods Tour — The Greek Theatre\, Los Angeles
DESCRIPTION:His voice sounds like it has been rained on. Not damaged — weathered\, like the grain of something left outside long enough to stop pretending it was ever meant to be indoors. Dermot Kennedy turned busking on Grafton Street in Dublin into arena tours with a voice that sits somewhere between hymn and storm\, and when he plays the Greek Theatre on a Monday in October\, the open-air canyon will do what it does best: make everything sound like it matters more than it should.\n\nThe Weight of the Woods Tour follows his third album\, and Kennedy brings Jonah Kagen as support — another voice built for rooms where people came to feel something and not talk about it. The Greek is the right venue for this. No roof. No walls behind the stage. Just the Griffith Park hillside going dark while a voice that started on a Dublin sidewalk fills a Los Angeles canyon.\n\nIf you know his music\, you know it lives in the drive home after — the part where you do not turn on the radio because the silence still has his voice in it. If you do not know it yet\, start with 'Outnumbered' and then buy the ticket. The order matters.\n\nMonday\, October 19\, 2026 at 8:00 PM. The Greek Theatre\, 2700 N Vermont Ave\, Los Angeles\, CA 90027.
