SUMMARY:YANA – The Feelings Are Forever Tour
DESCRIPTION:Naming a project after the phrase people text each other at 2 AM sets an expectation\, and the songs deliver on it — bedroom pop that is more structurally ambitious than the genre label suggests\, with arrangements that keep adding parts until a small song becomes a large one. The material comes out of the specific online ecosystem where an artist and an audience talk to each other constantly\, which means the room already has in-jokes. Live shows for projects like this tend to feel less like a performance and more like a gathering that happens to have a stage. Highland Park's upstairs hall\, wood floor\, balcony above. Music at 8:00 PM at 104 N Avenue 56 on a Friday. Everyone here found this the same way\, alone\, and the recognition of that is most of what the night is.
