SUMMARY:Shintaro Sakamoto
DESCRIPTION:American tours by this artist happen rarely enough that adding a second night in the same room is less a scheduling decision than an acknowledgment that people flew in. The music is the same peculiar thing either night — slack guitar\, deadpan falsetto\, arrangements that sound like a resort band playing something faintly sinister — and it does not resemble anything else currently touring. He dissolved a much louder band at its peak to start doing this. The Tuesday date will be the quieter of the two and probably the better one. Highland Park's upstairs Masonic hall\, wood floors\, a balcony that fills late. Music at 8:00 PM at 104 N Avenue 56. Three separate audiences claim this artist and they mostly do not know the others exist until they are all in the same room.
