DESCRIPTION:Sunday is the hardest day to plan and the easiest to waste\, and the fix a lot of people in this city landed on is simply going where the food is and letting the afternoon happen. Dozens of vendors set up in the old rail yard buildings south of the Arts District — many of them businesses that exist only here\, run by people who are testing whether the thing they make can support them. That is the actual draw. Several restaurants that Angelenos now treat as institutions started as a folding table at this market\, and you can usually tell which stalls are on that trajectory by the length of the line at eleven in the morning. Entry is free and the first two hours of parking are too\, which makes it one of the few genuinely low-commitment ways to spend a Sunday here. Every Sunday\, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM\, at ROW DTLA on South Alameda. The vendor list rotates constantly\, so the people who come once tend to come back to see what changed.
