That small\, specific regret is more common than anyone admits\, and it is the reason events like this stay full.\n\nFor its twenty-fifth year\, the aquarium hands its halls over to the traditions of China\, Japan\, Korea and the Philippines for one weekend. Craft demonstrations where somebody will actually put the material in your hands. Music and dance on a stage a few feet from the sea otters. Storytelling sessions where the storyteller is usually somebody's actual grandmother.\n\nThe detail worth knowing: because it is inside an aquarium rather than on a closed street\, the whole thing happens at conversation volume. Nobody is shouting over a sound system.
