It is trying to find out whether you will stay in the room\, and the people who stay recognise each other for years afterwards.\n\nBrutalismus 3000 came out of Berlin doing something that should not work — gabber and hardcore techno with punk delivery over the top\, played at speeds designed to thin out the crowd. What is left after the thinning is the point. The Berlin rooms that built this act are small and sweaty and have no interest in explaining themselves\, which is why an Expo Hall date in Los Angeles is genuinely strange: a scene built on not being found\, suddenly findable.\n\nEurohead\, OZA and ali rq open\, so the night is stacked rather than padded — a real lineup instead of one act and a warm-up.\n\nIf you already know\, you knew before you finished reading the name.
