DESCRIPTION:At some point in the last few years the internet decided\, collectively and without a vote\, that an ogre from 2001 was load-bearing. You know this. You have participated in it. What you may not have processed is that it escaped the internet entirely and became a thing you can physically attend in Hollywood\, in costume\, at ten at night\, with several hundred people who made the same decision you did.\n\nThe thing nobody warns you about is how committed the costumes get. This is not a novelty-headband crowd. People arrive painted green. There are full Lord Farquaads. And because the premise is unserious\, everyone is unusually kind — the social anxiety that governs a normal club floor cannot survive a room where the funniest outfit wins.\n\nMusically it is throwback anthems and singalongs rather than anything challenging\, which is the correct call.
