SUMMARY:Mursic\, Find Me Falling\, Rio
DESCRIPTION:Local bands get exactly one shot at you\, and it is almost always on a weeknight\, opening for somebody else you actually came to see. Occasionally they get a whole bill to themselves.\n\nThis is one of those\, and it is stacked with the kind of melodic\, slightly overwrought guitar music that a nineteen-year-old needs and a thirty-four-year-old secretly still needs. Three acts\, all working the same emotional register\, none of them famous enough that you will be watching over anyone's raised phone. The crowd will be mostly friends of the bands\, which sounds like a warning and is actually the appeal — nobody is bored\, nobody is there ironically.\n\nA Wednesday. Doors seven-thirty\, first band eight-thirty.\n\nOctober 14\, Casbah\, 2501 Kettner Blvd. Bring whoever still defends the album that got you through a specific year. San Diego turns out this kind of band constantly and almost none of it makes it past the county line.
