SUMMARY:Holiday Bowl 2026
DESCRIPTION:Two fanbases who have never met fly into the same city three days after Christmas\, discover they are staying in the same six hotels\, and spend forty-eight hours being extremely polite to each other in the Gaslamp. That is the part locals actually enjoy. San Diego has run this game for forty-seven years\, which makes it older than most of the people playing in it\, and the city treats bowl week less like a football fixture than like a brief\, well-behaved invasion. The game itself matches an ACC team against a Pac-12 or former Pac-12 program\, which in practice means a lot of people who have spent a season watching their team on a laptop finally seeing them in daylight. Two o'clock kickoff\, which is the good slot: you are out before dark with the whole evening left in a downtown that is full of people in unfamiliar colours. Snapdragon Stadium\, Mission Valley\, the Monday after Christmas.
LOCATION:Snapdragon Stadium\, 2101 Stadium Way\, San Diego\, CA 92108
