SUMMARY:The Rental with writer/director Dave Franco
DESCRIPTION:Everyone has been on the group trip where the house was beautiful and something was wrong. Not wrong enough to say out loud on the first night - just a door that did not lock right\, a host who answered too fast\, a friend who got quiet in the car. You spend the weekend deciding whether you are being paranoid or polite. That is the nerve this movie puts a thumb on\, and its director is going to be standing in the room afterward explaining exactly how he built it. Dave Franco made his directorial debut with a vacation-rental horror film that understood the real fear was never the stranger - it was the four people you already knew. He is bringing special guests and taking questions on 35mm-house turf where the crowd actually stays for the Q and A instead of filing out. Insider note: the Eagle Theatre seats about 270\, and guest nights sell through before the week starts. One night only\, Tuesday October 13\, 7:30pm.
LOCATION:Vidiots at the Eagle Theatre\, 4884 Eagle Rock Blvd\, Los Angeles\, CA 90041
