SUMMARY:Anaheim Ducks vs. Vancouver Canucks
DESCRIPTION:The six o'clock puck drop is the detail that tells you who this game is for. Most weeknight hockey starts at seven\, which means anyone with a real commute eats dinner in the car and misses the first period entirely. An hour earlier changes the shape of the whole evening — you arrive in daylight\, you are home before eleven\, and the building fills properly instead of trickling in through the second period. The Ducks host Vancouver\, a matchup that has gotten considerably more interesting as both rosters turned young and fast at the same time. Canucks supporters also travel in numbers that surprise anyone who has not been to one of these\; a meaningful slice of the lower bowl will be in blue and green and will not be quiet about it. Bring a layer: the seats behind the benches at Honda Center run genuinely cold\, which first-timers never believe until the second intermission. Doors well before the six o'clock faceoff on Wednesday the sixteenth.
