SUMMARY:Obscene (Goth / Industrial / EBM / Darkwave)
DESCRIPTION:Owning the best records nobody you know wants to hear is its own specific loneliness. You put something on at a party\, watch the room politely wait for it to finish\, and quietly decide not to try again. That instinct is the thing worth unlearning\, because there is a Thursday downtown where the whole bar already knows the words and nobody needs the context explained.\n\nThe room is small and low-ceilinged and does not pretend otherwise. Haze sits at eye level. The booth is close enough that you can actually ask what that last track was and get an answer\, and the residents hold the floor all night instead of handing off every forty minutes\, which is why the set has somewhere to go by midnight rather than resetting. Vendors set up inside\, so whoever sold you the jewelry is on the floor beside you an hour later. People dress for this one. Nobody is performing irony.\n\nDoors at nine\, and it runs until two. What surprises most first-timers is how warm a room full of people in black turns out to be.
