SUMMARY:foxtails / dadlore / Astatine / Love at First Fight
DESCRIPTION:At some point between fifteen and nineteen you needed music that sounded like the inside of your own head rather than something tidier and better organized than it. Most people grow out of that need eventually. Some people simply find the right band and stop looking.\n\nThis is four bands deep in the tradition where the vocals are not really sung so much as emptied out\, and the quiet passages exist purely to make the loud ones unbearable in the good way. Scribble is a small room up on York Boulevard\, close enough that there is no separation whatsoever between the stage and whoever is standing in front of it\, which is the only arrangement in which any of this works.\n\nNineteen dollars on a Sunday night in Highland Park.\n\nThis one goes to the person who still has the playlist from that year and has never once deleted it.\n\nHalf seven at 5541 York Boulevard\, November 8.
