SUMMARY:Cowboy TV\, KZMT (Shelbi Bennett)\, Omo Cloud
DESCRIPTION:Ten dollars is the price of a sandwich. It is also\, on this particular Thursday\, the price of finding out which of three bands you are going to be insufferable about for the next two years.\n\nUnderneath the touring acts\, this is the Casbah's actual job in San Diego: a cheap midweek bill of three local projects where the running order is a real argument rather than a formality. Cowboy TV play a loose\, twang-adjacent indie rock. KZMT is Shelbi Bennett working in a quieter and more unsettling register. Omo Cloud sit somewhere to the left of both. Not one of them has a Wikipedia page worth reading\, which is the entire appeal of the evening.\n\nBills like this are where every band San Diego later claims as its own actually began\, and the framed photographs along the wall by the bar are all of people who once played this exact slot on this exact kind of Thursday.\n\n21+. Doors 7:30\, first band 8:30. $10-$15 at 2501 Kettner.
