DESCRIPTION:Four kids from Encinitas who play like the beach is a genre rather than a place\, and a crowd that treats a Tuesday like the last night of summer. Somebody will crowd-surf. It is a two-hundred-capacity room.\n\nSun Room came up through the North County surf-and-garage circuit and still sound like it\, all reverb-soaked guitars and songs that end about thirty seconds before you want them to. They have since played considerably larger stages\, which makes a hometown club date a slightly strange and very good thing: the band knows exactly how much the room can take and plays to the edge of it.\n\nA nine o'clock start on a Tuesday with no opener listed means the set runs long and loose\, and the encore tends to be whatever somebody shouts for. Come early if you want the barrier.\n\n21+. Doors 8pm\, show 9pm. $25.
