SUMMARY:City Mouse\, Pretty Mid\, Substitute Gym Teacher
DESCRIPTION:Pop-punk aged into something honest when the people writing it stopped pretending to be seventeen. City Mouse write about rent and grief and staying in your hometown\, at the same tempo as always.\n\nMiski Dee Rodriguez has been fronting this band out of Orange County for over a decade\, and the songs have the quality of a letter from somebody who did not move away and is not apologising for it. Pretty Mid and Substitute Gym Teacher open\, and the names tell you most of what you need to know about the register of the evening.\n\nMonday\, ten dollars\, three bands. This is the bill people will later say they were at\, and the only reason to be there is that somebody told you. Consider this being told.\n\n21+. Doors 7:30\, first band 8:30. $10. Middletown\, San Diego.
