SUMMARY:Pratt & Moody
DESCRIPTION:Late January is when the resolutions have collapsed and nobody has anywhere to be. It is the easiest month of the year to persuade somebody to come out on a Thursday\, and almost nothing is on.\n\nPratt & Moody are a duo working in close harmony and not much else\, which is a format that either falls apart live or becomes the only thing in the room. The arrangements are deliberately underbuilt\, leaving space where a full band would put a chorus\, and in a club with a low ceiling that space does real work.\n\nThis room has a particular quality late in the winter: the touring schedule has not restarted\, so the people in attendance are locals who follow the calendar rather than the artist. They are the most forgiving and the most attentive audience a duo can get.\n\n21+. Doors 7:30\, music 8:30. $20-$25.
