SUMMARY:Rodriguez Jr. - Cielo du Sol Halloween in Malibu
DESCRIPTION:Halloween in Los Angeles is a nocturnal event by default. Somebody looked at that assumption\, moved the whole thing to a vineyard at noon\, and found an audience immediately.\n\nRodriguez Jr. makes melodic live electronic music\, performed rather than mixed\, which is the right fit for a crowd standing in daylight with the Santa Monica Mountains behind them. Cielo Farms sits up Mulholland Highway\, and the Halloween edition brings costumes into a setting that makes them look considerably stranger than they would at night.\n\nEveryone underestimates the canyon. It is warm until the sun clears the western ridge and then it is abruptly not\, usually about an hour before the music ends\, and the people with jackets in the car are the ones who have done this before.\n\n31424 Mulholland Highway\, Malibu. Noon.
