SUMMARY:Black Book Records presents 'Untitled'
DESCRIPTION:A record label throwing its own party is a different thing from a promoter booking a headliner. The people on the flyer already work together\, and it shows in how the night is sequenced.\n\nBlack Book Records have been a fixture of the Los Angeles techno and house underground for years\, and an untitled label night is a deliberate signal: no headliner billing\, no hierarchy\, turn up for the label rather than for a name. That is a confident way to sell a Thursday in December\, and the people who buy in are the ones who have been following the catalogue.\n\nDecember is the quietest month on the LA warehouse calendar. A label that books into it is doing it for the regulars\, not the numbers.\n\n4594 Electronics Place. 10pm\, Thursday.
