SUMMARY:Sound And Fury Presents: Have Heart
DESCRIPTION:They broke up\, and the breaking up is a large part of why this matters. A band that stopped at the right moment and has come back only rarely since does not have to compete with its own later work\, so the songs stayed exactly where people left them - which means a room full of adults who are about to behave like they are nineteen\, with full knowledge that they are not. Straight edge hardcore from Massachusetts\, played for a Los Angeles crowd that has been waiting. The promoter behind this runs the festival that is effectively the centre of American hardcore every summer\, and a one-off under that banner is treated as an event rather than a date. Doors at seven on Saturday on South Hill Street. The hardcore calendar out here is dense and almost entirely word of mouth\, and the people at this show plan their years around parts of it.
